Official Launch on 12 November 2021 https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/community/marine-and-offshore-industry-launches-5000km-virtual-run-to-raise-funds-for

During these challenging pandemic period, even the most mentally strong might struggle as pandemic fatigue starts to kick in, not to mention being alone, away from family and home for our Migrant Workers.

Astoria Solutions is honored to be a part of ASMI’s new virtual initiative, “ASMI Gives Back”. The initiative aims to raise awareness and efforts to focus on the Mental wellbeing of Migrant Workers in Singapore, especially in the Marine & Offshore Engineering (M&OE) sector and targets to do this by getting the community to collectively hit 5,000km of running or walking distance and raising 5,000 care packs for these marine migrant workers to show that we really appreciate them.

This initiative was kicked off by Senior Minister of State for Ministry of Health and Ministry of Manpower, Dr Koh Poh Koon. In addition, the Ministry of Manpower and Workplace Safety & Health Council are very supportive of this ground up efforts and are working together to support the initiative.

While this is just a simple gesture, Astoria Solutions would like to give back to our society by raising about 130 care packs to show these workers that we do care and that they are not forgotten!

These care packs will be distributed to the workers during the International Migrants Day on 18 December 2021.
